Herb Drying

Since Ive moved my parsley into the house for winter, Ive started harvesting it to keep it going.

Just doing simple drying on top of the fridge, Ive amassed a small bag of dried branches which will go nicely in my cooking since I seem to use a lot of dried herbs.. Sometimes the fresh stuff is great in homemade pasta sauce but sometimes the dried is nicer too.

Now that I extended my kitchen windowsill with my homemade ‘sill extender’ I can stably put pots on it now, so next to my parsley I’ve got some basil starting.

Its a shame no other windows in the house are really capable of the same. They are too low (ie: good for the dog to get into) or not on the right side of the house for winter sun.

Becky and Sundra sing “We didn’t start the fire” by Billy Joel

Two people never to get stuck on a desert island with, Becky and Sundra. 1hr with flint+knife and they cant start a fire then 30 minutes with matches, Sundra uses them all up with still no fire!

It was so hilarious it was beyond inept. Everyone is falling asleap in the background. Thank the stars it was not live tv at this point.

With Survivour over, the only other show I watch, Top Chef will soon be at an end then I will be tv-watchless until the next season of Survivour.

Heartbeats

On friday we went for another baby appointment. This one was to listen to the heartbeat.
Joy wasn’t feeling the greatest and her stomach sounded like a geiger counter, but the obgynist found the pulse, which was running at 150 BPM!! Joys was only 60 BPM.

Its funny to think something the size of a grain of rice or lentil was running at 150BPM.

ScummVM

After several months of Sarien being merged into ScummVM, I made my first commit to the scummvm tree.

Yes, after all this time I’m starting back on some AGI work, this time its on the merged code in scummvm.

Time will tell how much more work I do on it but I have started.

Crikey! Cricket

Im no cricket fan but.. OMG how on earth did england loose the 2nd test??? They should have totally blitzed that second test. Its not like I’d cheer England over Australia but that was an appalling loss by Elizabeths XI.
