Well its Sunday morning, 8am, and I’m doing support for work. fun. Daily sales figures fell over, so no reports went out to the top brass of the company…
And my parents landed safe and sound in Melbourne at 4:30am.
So the two things balance out, but still… an auspicious start to the day..

So apart from doing the washing and vacuuming, this wasted afternoon was spent in glorious slobola land. Watching movies..
This afternoon we had;
Breakfast Club
Sixteen Candles
Fast Times and Ridgemont High
tonight will proably be;
Goonies
I’m in an 80s flashback mood today…
Its a shame Pretty In Pink is not out on DVD here in the UK

Sigh.. Its time.. Time to move hosts. I hate moving hosts, it involves too much uncertainty and poor research.
I need to move mega-tokyo.com to a new hosting provider since my current one sucks ass. I have two contenders but I neither have 100% of what I want, so I have to compromise. This is the bit that I hate. I can never find what I want at a reasonable price....
Oh well… At least this move should hold me over for another couple of years hopefully…
more updates as things happen…

Well, I’m back from my cross country jaunt, of driving my parents around the country… So many thoughts buzzing in my head, so much stuff…
The first thing is, my laptop ATE 15 of my photos from my digital camera! AAAAARGH! bastardaa! I lost all my photos of Bath, Roman baths, ruins, Bath Abbey, Stonehenge and some of Stratford-opon-Avon (Shakespears house, etc)…
Boy am I pissed… but I still have my memories…
Driving was fun, I feel like a rally driver now. Driving outside of London is fine, but London SUCKS. down gear, up gear, down gear, up gear. aargh.
Britain needs to get a grip on this concept called ‘signposting’, because there is a huuuge lack thereof, and whats there is shit and confusing. Its really apalling…
Apart from that, the holiday was great.
Drove from London to Cambridge, to York, Warwick, Stratford Opon Avon, Bath, Stonehenge, London…
Will write more as I make a bit more cohesive sense of it all…

I was checking my email and saw this in a signature… quite apt!
If you go to work and your name is on the door, you’re rich. If your name is on your desk, you’re middle class. If your name is on your shirt, you’re poor
Dont know where it comes from, but works well with todays western buy-me society.

Well, on Tuesday I’m off driving around England. Taking my folks sight-seeing.
I’ve rented a car. Its been two years since I’ve driven a car, and its been 4 years since I’ve driven a stick. Its not like you forget, but its going to be fun none-the-less. :D
My first task is to drive from one side of london to the other! Lucky it wont be peak hour but sheesh! What a nightmare!!
I’ll be gone for 12 days.. so no updates till I get back.
